After attending a drum n bass gig as a teenager, Canberra girl Alex Cleary was unwittingly thrown head first into the dance music scene, and an undying passion for electronic music would soon spawn. From frequenting the club and festival scene it didn’t take long for Alex to realise she craved an involvement in music far greater than being a part of the audience, which ultimately lead her to DJing.

Alex’s preferences have progressed through a wide variety of genre’s, from Drum n Bass to Down-Tempo and Tearout Breaks, to Fidget House and Tech-Funk, and finally discovering a love for Tech-House and Techno. Some of her main influences include The Prodigy, Umek, Dopamine, Plump DJs, Dubfire, Elite Force, Meat Katie, Mark Dynamix and Stanton Warriors.

These days you will find Alex playing techno and tech-house, and the occasional breaks set whenever possible.
