Tobias Thomas - Kompakt 4 Tour Mix

Born in 1970 in Germany’s south, Tobias Thomas is a prized member of Kompakt’s inner circle. As a former editor of respected Germany magazine SPEX, Thomas has interviewed some of electronic music’s biggest and best, from Westbam and the Pet Shop Boys to Depeche Mode and Justin Timberlake.

After his journalism career ceased (the magazine relocated to Berlin), Thomas has played in more than 30 countries on four continents. He’s also released three mix compilations, including the landmark Please Please Please.

In November and December, Thomas joins labelmates Michael Mayer and Dominik Eulberg in Australia for the Kompakt 4 tour. Here’s a slow and woozy mix from the DJ to set the mood.
