There are some DJs who just know how to get the job done, and get it done with minimal fanfare or showboating. Yousef is one of those DJs. It was no surprise, then, to see that Carl Cox had handpicked Yousef as one of the resident DJs for the 2011 season of The Revolution in Ibiza, alongside Umek and Nic Fanciulli.

The Space residency has been keeping the Liverpool mainstay busy this summer, but he’s not tied to one club. This mix – handed exclusively to inthemix – was recorded during one of Circo Loco’s infamous sessions at DC10 last month. True to the party’s spirit in 2011, it’s all bumping house and summery vibes. You can expect some of this action when Yousef does Stereosonic in Sydney and Melbourne this summer.
