In October, club fiends can look forward to an ample dose of genre-hopping bangers when Evil Nine gets back here. Ahead of the tour, we’ve got our hands on this killer exclusive mix from the Brighton duo, which sees the guys throwing in plenty of bumping, bass-heavy gear from the likes of Fake Blood, Fergie, Claude VonStroke and NT89. It’s also laced with Evil Nine’s own studio handiwork, including the unreleased Weird Dude Energy.
Ever since emerging on Adam Freeland’s Marine Parade label, Evil Nine has been a difficult act to pin a genre tag on. Their debut album You Can Be Special Too has plenty of fervent fans on inthemix, and over the years they’ve followed it with They Live! and The Power EP. 2011 has seen the duo release back-to-back singles The Little Prince and Roar, with album number three currently cooking. The one common strain to their sound is plenty of bottom-end – dive into this ITM-FM exclusive to hear it for yourself.
