Vitalic on ITM-FM

Leading the techno charge at Creamfields 2012 is French wizard Vitalic, and here’s an hour session from the man himself to get you set. Vitalic is no stranger to these parts, and his immersive live show is a point of pride.

“The live set really changes all the time,” he told inthemix recently. “Basically, I have a computer, a controller, synthesiser, drum machine and some other effects, or two synthesisers. So the basic kind of set-up for a live show.” That result, however, is anything but basic, with textured techno and electro worked in to rattling effect.

Vitalic’s last album was Flashmob a couple of years back, which spawned the single Second Lives and its genius video (see below). Here’s hoping he’s got some new weapons to show off when he gets back here for Creamfields. In the meantime, wrap your ears around this tour primer.
