Alison Wonderland on Fridays inthemix

Recently Sydney-based DJ Alison Wonderland stopping by the hallowed ITM HQ decks for a two-hour, weekend-primer DJ set as part of our Fridays inthemix series. What we got was a supremely party-ready mix spanning everything from ‘90s guilty pleasures to of-the-moment house and drum & bass.

BBC Radio 1 host Annie Mac described Wonderland’s set at last year’s Stereosonic as “the best party set I’ve heard in a long time”, which is high praise indeed. She also recently dropped the Welcome to Wonderland mix compilation, which mixed in international heavyweights alongside local luminaries like Lancelot, Flight Facilities and Beni. As for her her own production slate, Alison Wonderland’s recent remix of Sam Sparro is a firm favourite on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio show, and there’s plenty more where that came from. In the meantime, this mix should get you desk-dancing like a boss.

So good! Am bouncing around in my chair listening to this at work and have already had two colleagues ask me what I'm playing...

Great mix of music - pretty average mixing between tracks. #hatersbehateing
