Hannah Parker has spent the last two years pushing through the ever expanding influx of up and coming DJs, gaining respect from her peers and dance music enthusiasts alike.

No stranger to the Queensland club circuit, Hannah has played a huge mix of venues – and with some exciting mixes and her own production to come, combined with her unique style, Hannah will be the one to watch in the She Can DJ 2012 competition.

Her abilities in cutting edge programming, and her undeniable skills on the ones and twos, have helped her into the Top 10 this year – and it’s no wonder that Hannah’s keen ear and extensive musical knowledge previously cemented her winning the nationwide 2012 Mardi Gras Spin Off DJ competition, performing at the sold-out Official Mardi Gras after party in Sydney.

So with all that competitive spirit, it’s apt that she should enter She Can DJ in 2012 – but this time around, Hannah has her eyes on an EMI recording contract. And it’s her quirky background and love for music that might just make her stand out.

Hannah brings her own unique blend of sleazy upfront house and bottom end techno, with her own brand of striking stage presence to match. And what’s the one thing she wants the judges to know in this year’s competition? “I wasn’t born… I was hatched from a techno egg!”
