Zoo Brazil – Full On Ferry warm-up mix

This Spring, Swedish gun John Andersson, aka Zoo Brazil, will head down under alongside Ferry Corsten for the Full On Australia tour. Speaking to inthemix in the lead-up to the visit, Corsten explained how the dynamic is going to work between Zoo Brazil, Shogun and himself.

“I will have one of my guests play before me,” he said. “Then I’ll come on stage and we’ll play back-to-back for half an hour to 45 minutes. Then I’ll play my own set, and then my second guest will come onstage and we’ll play back-to-back for 45 minutes, and my second guest will close out the night. I tried to look for a diverse line-up. That’s why I’ve got Shogun and Zoo Brazil, because it’s a good mix between house and trance and I think they work really well.”

Zoo Brazil is certainly cut out for the job. He’s had releases on Get Physical Music, Ministry of Sound, Renaissance, Strictly Rhythm, Systematic and Yoshitoshi, while also finding a spot on Tiesto’s Black Hole Recordings and Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music. This mix should set up fans for what to expect at the Full On Australia shows. Including a few Zoo Brazil tracks alongside the likes of Superflu, Format B and Andhim, it’s a good indication of how the Swede goes about it.

1. Format B – Gospel (Superflu’s Antichrist remix)
2. Andhim – Patty Sue (Superflu’s Suncreams remix)
3. Love Girls – Ze Bangert
4. Zoo Brazil – Finlandia
5. Zoo Brazil – The Kill
6. Andhim – Extragold
7. Heartik – Mini Swing
8. Superflu – Euterpeh
9. Zoo Brazil – Fancy (Popof remix)

regretfully tried to listen to this again, bad mistake!
what happened? can pretty much blame his new found shitness on me not going to this gig (although ferry hasn't overly impressed me recently).
