As a booking agent at Modular by day and DJ by night, it’d be fair to say The Essential Stix knows a thing or two about dance music. A regular at haunts like The Abercrombie, Paul Stix describes his sound as a “sexy wrestling match between Billy Ocean, M.I.A., George Michael and The Chemical Brothers” – mental image enough to sell us on including The Essential Stix in our Rave Cave at the Jurassic Lounge.
