i think that you are forgetting that Bexta is a Dj and producer and that is how she gets money. Thats why she does shitty gigs in Penrith and places like that because she can and because she is getting money for it. Well when I first got into the whole scene I thought bexta was mad blah blah blah, then you actually get out to more clubs, see more dj's and you realise that she isnt that talented she just plays the same songs over and over each year and her mixing is pretty average... The whole arguments about people, bands etc selling out, in my opinion are stupid and never get anywhere. I have respect for producers who go out and do their own thing and don't try to copy other peoples material, but when it come to things such as boybands who get all their stuff written by songwriters, wheres the real talent there? As you can see their music, and often the bands lasts for a couple of months then they are never heard of again. Seriously though, bexta obviously has talent as a producer and appeals to a certain crowd and she has done this quite successfully as she has had her songs played overseas by other djs both locally and overseas for which she deserves credit. But in relation to her djing, how many times is she going to play dj kessock - reality? Every time ive seen her lately shes played scot proj - o, spacecorn - axel f etc etc... She certainly has the ability to suck the life out of tracks and make them commercial and doesnt seem to have much variety in her sets. I dont know if its just me or has everyone else noticed this? Anyways enough of my rambling...

Bexta can be good but can be really @!#$ also...seen her 3 times...SOS, plastic and at my local. She was really good at SOS..nice techy prog set but the two other times she SUCKED. She just plays up to that whole voodoo/plastic crowd..u know..the dickheads who follow nik fish and jumping jack around all night at sublime trying to root them with their glowstix...the ones who stand right up in front of the dj booth all night, their idea of dancing being to plant their feet and punch the air with their glowstix whilst looking like freaks due to burgeoning goee addiction and sweating so much that they could fill up an olympic swimming pool. If iu wanna see a good female house dj, go see Leah...she is much better than that whole hardbitch crowd (bexta/amber savage/vixen). Bexta may be a good dj but she plays shitty tracks.

Lets be serious now... Do you seriously think bexta compares to people like Dave Clarke, Dj Marky, Andy C, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, PVD, Ferry Corsten etc... You have to be joking! Her production is alright, except that one for the road track, the remix is ok but the original is boring as hell, it takes forever to get where its going and then it goes no-where. The synth from drum beats go is stolen from a classical track, there are thousands of better producers out there, you guys need to get out and listen to a few more djs, or at least know what your are talking about. Her track selection is good but she overplays tracks (this is perhaps an understatement) and her phasing and mixing skills are average. You should be giving props to people like Mark Dynamix and so on who are technically way above her. Her popularity is formed because she plays a set of floorfillers, theres no skill in that. Amber or Vixen would whoop her ass anyday in a mix off.

have had fun times dancing to a few of her at the beginning of my clubbing career (only while off chops), when i actually watched and paid attention to her whilst not peaking i realised she was actually rather horrific, as well as coming across as pretty arrogant.
the fact that i don't like her style of music is obviously a contributing factor, but there are others who do it so much better, and she gets far more credit and respect than she desrves in my opinion.
