I had an amazing night, mostly due to Ed Rush, Optical and Ryme Tyme. Spent most of my time around front of the drumz arena, when not deeply engaged in conversation with complete strangers. Was surprised by B.L.I.M, of who i knew nothing about, I am now intrigued to find out more. All in all I'll never forget the Virus set(Ed rush&Optical) though-I spent most of this 2 hour set on the fence or in a crazed dancing frenzy mere centimetres away from fence.
Did you see me? Did I see you? I was wearing a Ketamine-makes cats messy shirt, to everyone i met, or enjoyed dancing space with, thankyou for helping make the night insane. mmmm grooverider at old adelaide gaol in april, for that matter mmmmm marky and co. at last adelaide gaol, its all been good in adelaide lately
Stardust was an average night for me,i was hoping on a better one but it just didnt happen.I guess i just wasnt in the mood but i tried not to let it ruin my night.
Highlights for me were odyssey's,Mr S and H bombs sets they were wikid.
The slopes and hills were a real downer but ohwell. All in all it was just average and it has nothing to do with promoters nor the music that was being played,it was just me and just one of those nights.
Overall it was a pretty average night for me, I just didn't have the energy. Jeff Mills sounded really good (from the chillout area) and I wish I could have bounced around all night to that. More flat dancing area would have been good, but hey its better that StPauls.

I had a great night. I got there early and didn't have to wait in the car line very long, unlike Enchanted and unlike some friends who got there around midnight. I was very impressed by BLIM, playing fat breakbeat that warmed me up nicely for a night of DnB. I spent most of the night in the DnB area but checking out the System6 area and main stage regularly. Most of the total strangers I talked to were all very fired up and itching to see Ed Rush and Optical. The DnB area closed early so everyone could all go to the main stage before they started. Jeff Mills finished and the DnB fans moved to a good spot up the front. Ed Rush and Optical came on with a bang, about a minute of build-up then the BASS exploded with huge flames on stage. It lit up the whole area and everyone seem to be jumping. So many songs and sounds at the beginning of the set were Roni Size, anyone would think it was Roni himself up there. Ryme Tyme summed it up perfectly, "Roni is the best". I spent the 2 hours at the fence, in a trance and dancing like a nutcase, it was way too good to stop. I was a bit worried about the 5am start time, but it was when the party peaked. For me it was one of those sets that you remember forever like Krust and Die at Enchanted or Roni Size and MC Dynamite at Gatecrasher in Sydney.
I did see someone wearing the Ketamine-makes cats messy shirt and I saw a lot of happy faces.
I don't think the ITM review gives this party the justice it deserves. Another amazing party in Adelaide, where you can always get plenty of Drum and Bass.
Chris C and Mr.S' freeform set made the night for me!
