View Full Version : 'Out there and back', track 02 Pikes, subliminal Paul van Dyk
Since i have received so many calls for the subliminal contents, i have decided to publish it here, for those that are too lazy to find the other places on the net where i have written this.
The artist is german electronica composer Paul van Dyk
The album is "Out there and back", about his trip to Australia in late 1999 or early 2000. He didn't tell me who he was, so i cannot recall the exact date.
There are a lot of themes on the album, but the main one is the relationship with his wife Natascha, and how this is tested with his meeting with a young australian man he meets at Sublime on pitt st, who he calls "Laurie B".
While my name is Laurie, but Pvd is the only one who has called me Laurie B, and that is the name of his fictional character, who he meets in track 2 Pikes, then goes on to have sex and drugs with in later tracks. It all comes to a climax in track 6, Tell Me Why - the Riddle - which is a fight with Natascha. I do not intend to publish the subliminal content of the entire album, there is simply too much.
This is a fictional story, and i can barely remember meeting him.
you can buy the album 'Out there and back'
or if you are in the habit of scamming files from audiogalaxy or similar, that is another otion. Since Pvd stole my identity to create his fictional character, i do not really mind if you steal this track from him. Track 2 Pikes, length 6min 55sec.
The subliminals start right from the opening second.
"I met this kid called Laurie B, I want to take him home with me"
"I met this dude called Laurie B, I want to take him home with me"
notice how the syllables "Laurie B" are a bit more scratchy than the others, but you can still hear them. A sound engineer told me this was white noise. putting white noise over the top of recorded seech or singing creates the subliminal.
These two lines are repeated 4 times before the 30 second drum marker. Then they are repeated several more times, with drums over the top.
Then, at 59 seconds, the song changes, and so does the subliminal
I will pause here, to let you catch up.
Have a listen. You will not pick them u the first time, but you will hear something.

I am featured on the Freestyler's track 'B-boy stance.'
Ignore for a moment the obvious reference to 'original rude boy,' there is a vocal sample at the end of every 2nd bar during a couple of the bridges that clearly says 'Will' on 3.5 and 'Styles' on tha 4.
Seriously have a listen.
i'm sure i've picked up subliminals in a nikki webster song that says something about will styles, handcuffs & playing dreamhouse barbie

Yeah, Carl Craig wrote a song called "Jam the Box".
It's a subliminal story about a618_allstar and his quest to sell his records.

Australia is too nice a place for such miserable people
perhaps they would like pvd's new double ministry of sound album, released in germany last week "the politics of dancing".

I can't believe it's 3 years and you're still ranting about rooting a washed out trance dj...
Man get a life or take some better drugs, either way your choice of psychosis is really lame.
so pvd has a gay affair with a young australian man to test his relationship with his wife. and this australian man is you?
right.
That is the fictional story on "Out there and back", PvD, June 2000.
As I said it is a fictional story.
Why did PvD do this? I don't really know, but he is obsessed with politics, and I was a young politician, a former city councillor and Deputy Mayor, the youngest ever.
Perhaps it was strange that he found someone interested in politics and dancing as much as he did.
As for the other twits posting nonsense here, go back to your own boring music, and keep pretending to be DJs, if that is your delusion.

again, for those that haven't come across you in the last few years.

He didn't tell you who he was but you are sure it was him... Right....
There are a lot of themes on the album, but the main one is the relationship with his wife Natascha, and how this is tested with his meeting with a young australian man he meets at Sublime on pitt st, who he calls "Laurie B". And can you quote that this is actually mentioned in his tracks? No...
I do not intend to publish the subliminal content of the entire album, there is simply too much. and non existent.
This is a fictional story, and i can barely remember meeting him. Cause you met him in your head
you can buy the album 'Out there and back'

Since Pvd stole my identity to create his fictional character, i do not really mind if you steal this track from him. Track 2 Pikes, length 6min 55sec. He stole your identity and created a track, that comment sounds crazy on i'ts own.
The subliminals start right from the opening second.
"I met this kid called Laurie B, I want to take him home with me"
"I met this dude called Laurie B, I want to take him home with me"
Oh dude....... really, you're are mental.
notice how the syllables "Laurie B" are a bit more scratchy than the others, but you can still hear them. A sound engineer told me this was white noise. putting white noise over the top of recorded seech or singing creates the subliminal. no it doesn't, it creates shit that you made up in your own head...
These two lines are repeated 4 times before the 30 second drum marker. Then they are repeated several more times, with drums over the top.
Then, at 59 seconds, the song changes, and so does the subliminal It changes in your head, not in real life...

LJB
you won't pick them up because they don't exist and you must be crazy to hear them...
This is getting very very old... please get PVD to write a letter to ITM to prove all this tripe, if you cannot supply said letter then get lost... and not in your own head...
But you have made my day kinda interesting in a weirdly nostalgic manner...

You two are a couple of twits.
You have no interest in PvD, and don't care much for his music. That is fine.
But no matter how much nonsense you write, you cannot change what PvD has done.

you, simon, are still a twit. You cannot even quote me properly.
The itm misfits you have mentioned have had a political axe to grind for some time.
They hate the fact that PvD escaped communism by crossing from East to West, across the Berlin Wall.
Writing about politics, music and dancing, in a forum like this, with people such as yourself who have no interest in PvDs music, is a challenge which could be described as "The Politics of Dancing".
However opinions about PvD and his music , from people such as you, who have no interest in it, are worthless.
For any PvD fans who have attended his Australian concerts in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003, and have seen what actually happens at a Sydney PvD concert, then you can find out more about the man and his music.

I quoted you, from what you wrote, didn't edit it so how can I not quote you properly?
People here hate you, not PvD, the quicker you come to terms with that the quicker you'll get a clue...
I have made no comments on PvD's music other than the fact that YOU (you self absorbed tool) are not part of his subject matter.
And once more, get some proof you moron, if you can just prove that there is an ounce of truth in your ramblings then I will leave this thread alone but until then, consider every comment you make to be rebutted.
