woohoo something we agree on. its pretty exponential too, as long as theres this element of sharing and not just privately making art and not letting others see because its not "perfect". im constantly thinking about what the future will hold... when i started making music i had a shitty akai sampler and a turntable years before ReBirth was released... now kids have everything a few clicks away on irc/azureus!

I don't have much online. You get that when you insist on a crappola dialup connnection. It's all sitting here on my harddrive or on any one of a number of MDs scattered about the place.

The Juno is still pulsing along nicely. ;D

This track started with a couple of basic percussion loops in ACID while i had a play and tweaked the Juno over the top.

It's one long unedited drone of analogue ... it was actually the second half of a longer session of fukking around

ummm... then just added more loops .. carved up some beats ... then rendered each track seperately as .wavs and imported them all into Cubase as seperate tracks for further tweaking/mastering/FX ... i do believe the original percussion tracks never made the final product

yea ... i tried working with the "Satan Has Been Paralysed" record .. but i think i need to look elsewhere for an an appropriate narrative that it would greatly benefit from.

tracks always start in different ways ... in Reason or ACID ... rarely Rebirth. Final mixing is always done in Cubase though. The interface works for me though it's a bit sluggish at times on my 866 processor :-D

Just was wondering, is the track at 22 minutes (approx.) the unknown one? It reminds me of another song i heard once, the whole melody was made out of vocal samples, very similar to this style too.

Yeah, it's a really fun mix too. I don't know much about the dude, but he really captures a chaotic vibe on the mix, you can imagine people hanging from the rafters if he dropped a set like that at a club.

Tracklisting isn't really full of surprises ('Rocker', 'E Talking', The Rapture etc), but it still sounds fresh to my ears - dulled as they are by years of drum kit abuse!

Well worth a listen. :thumb:

'couch moisture' - quick paced dancefloor tune with a nice tech vibe a la black sun empire

'cant stop now' - Total dancefloor tune! 2 step roll with some pacey builds, fills and a big washed out lead synth - similar to blames stuff of late but not as intense production wise.
