What happened at Lot33 on Sunday night?

Don't know the real story, but I can tell you that I was there and it wasn't very pleasant. Finally Canberra gets a decent DJ in town (my all time fav AT) and something like that happens - and people say nothing happens in Canberra....

Full credit to the majority of people who stayed on and didn't let the incident wreck their night.

AT rocked the place, there was a great vibe, great venue and great people.

i had left before the spray incident but there was a very very very strange vibe on sunday. lots of drunk boys going the grope on the ladies. the whole thing was quite iffy.

i too like the AT set even and its not really my scene. i even liked the Rui De Silva Cheese fest he played. shame.

Well..... from where I was standing..it looked like a fight had broken out because everyone at the front was pouring out the front doors.

Then a weird odour hit my nose...and shortly afterwards I got a lungful of pepper spray and doubled over and headed for the door too.

Rumour is that it was two bikies who disliked the music (WTF were they doing there anyways???????) chucked a pepper spray canister or something like that on the dance floor..... trés uncool.

I don't know about the drunken groping iffy vibe though.... I thought it was a pretty up for it crowd, the security was friendly (even if they were at least 100 over capacity), I got groped by an inebriated girl and lil_jazz saved me.
