Go to Hollywood, there should be plenty of house clubs. I know of one called King King, its in hollywood. That should be a good start.I'll post more info soon.

sorry jedi, didn't see this thread before, hope I'm not to late.

deep is an awesome club which plays, suprise suprise, deep house. marques wyatt runs the night and regularly brings in other quality djs like little louie vega, ben watt, kaskade etc. its on hollywood blvd near bronson ave and happens every sunday night.

spundae at circus is okay for a sat night, but it largely depends on who's playing. the club is huge, but when a dj like stacy pullen plays to a crowd of 20 people and its only 3:30am you know something just aint right.

doc martin has some great parties but they're rarely advertised. very underground and very much all about the music. check out the sublevel website for details.

the best party i went to while in LA was called the wet pool party. it was basically a day at the pool area of the roosevelt hotel with music by miguel migs, gabriel rene, marques wyatt, and many more. i dont know if its a regular thing but definitely check it out if you can.

and finally theres avalon, on vine st near hollywood blvd. like spundae it depends who's playing as to whether or not its worth going to.

you gotta go to the comedy store on sunset, opposite house of blues, I can't reccomend this highly enough.

Very funny stuff.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the info... LA is pretty lame and boring so I'm getting out of here. I wish I had another weekend up my sleeve to check out some of the clubs you guys listed.

Heading over to see what Vancouver and NY have to offer.

Maas you've been to LA and NY yeah? which did you prefer?

Cheers,

Jedi

dude i am contemplating moving to NY in a couple of years time. its an expensive place and i am looking at the financial aspect of it all. if i can secure a well paying job I'm off. NY has a vibe that gave me goosebumps and had a nightlife which is unmatched.
nb - if your staying in manhattan try and land a place in the 20 - 35th street area. you'll be walking distance from all the action.

as for LA - I'll only return there to see my relatives, and maybe go up to six flags magic mountain for the thrill rides.

Was just there yesterday... X was unreal and would have to say Goliath is up there also for the g-force factor. Superman and scream are a waste of time.
