Hi all,

I'm coming to your part of the world this weekend, and was wondering where is the place to go?

Looking to go out either fri or sat night, to a good club, nothing really commercial, just good music, good crowd etc.

So what would you guys reccommend?

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

I've really gotta recommend FANG @ Babylon on Friday as well.

Friendly crowd + quality deep tunes + good system = Best night out in Canberra.

It starts at 10pm upstairs in Alinga St, City. Make sure you come early to catch my set ;)

Wow, Babylon must have really improved recently because all the times I have been there it has been pretty poor with virtually no-one there.

Hope it has improved - need a good dance venue in Civic.

The cage-type things are cool.

OK. I'm not vouching for Babylon crowd- or music-wise on any other night besides FANG, which happens roughly once a month. I assume (because I've never been) that the rest of the time it's your standard run-of-the-mill commercial venue.

Definitely worth $10 of your hard-earned this Friday, though...
