Just a question for all u fellow canberrans. I just got into this scene about 6 months ago. I was wondering if any of u guys can recommend any absolute classic tunes that i should go out and get. By the way Clash of the Titans was awesome. Especially Archie v Fenix!!

Disco Stu,

You really should start off with Paul Van Dyk's Out there and back c.d. It is really awesome....Different to clash of the titans, but I reckon if you buy it, you will LOVE IT!!!!!

Some great CDs which have the added advantage of being really cheap:

PLASTIC mixed by Nervous & John Ferris - about $24
DEPARTURES (Global Underground mix CD) - about $13 (don't be put off by the price, it kicks serious date)

Can't think of any other really cheap ones, but if you liked Clash of the titans, try any CDs from the Slinky, Gatecrasher or Ministry of Sound range. If you want something a bit more interesting and bit less in your face, try Renaissance, Global Underground and Nubreed.

Happy hunting :)

Nah...look, if you want a bargain at the moment you should try the new Timo Maas mix cd (double disc as well!) - 32 bucks, and it has the funky mix of Star 69 that shits over the original! Also, if you like Air, or need some relaxing music, try a new electro group called Zero Seven - very schmick!

The new Mixology is OK but the first one is better.

If your into the harder music which was what was going at clash of titans id have to recommend: -hard energy(Ministry of sound) mixed by fergie & yomanda or any of the nukleuz or trade cds
