What kind of music do you want to listen to?
Tokyo's the land of the clubbing.
The big festival season has just rounded up as they usually all take place during summer, but there should be a few on the way.
Sonar Sound happened in October last year, but I am not sure what the plans are or if it will take place this year, but you can keep an eye out on that.

PiNKe's article is a great read. I'd love to go to Japan one day. The tokyo clubs sound brilliant and always have tons of big name dj's coming through.

Go to Yellow. Fuck that club has a great sound system. I just got the horn thinking about it.
Ive spent plenty of time in Japan, but not much in Tokyo (and I was with the wrong ppl at that time anyway). Let me know if u ever go to Sapporo or Osaka!
I do have a vague recollection of going to a club called 'Xanadu' however. I think it was fairly seedy, but the drunken bartender who kept giving me free shots all night sure made up for that.
Im sure youll have no trouble finding some good clubs though....

Note to weary clubbers: By law all clubs in Japan require patrons to be over the age of 20 years old. Japanese clubs are quite strict with checking I.D. and it is required that you have some proper form of photographic idea on you in order to enter the club (Passport for travellers, Alien Registration Card for foreign residents). You will not be allowed entry into the club if you do not have the required I.D.
Cheers. That's good to know.

Hajimemashite!
I just booked a flight to SF today on JAL, so I have 24 hours from 5pm Sunday evening to 5pm Monday in Tokyo.
I just want to know a place that plays some techno/minimal/house etc. Liquid Room would have been the obvious choice, but from reading the article, it seems to have been watered down ;)
Any suggestions...
