Wine + Mixer =

One of my idiot friends just put her glass of wine down on top of my mixer which then fell and smased. Leaving my mixer soaked in Wine, i quickly wiped it off and put it upside down to dry.

Left it for a while and then hooked it up to see if it worked. Lights come on but even when its up to full volume you can bearly hear it

Guess im wanting to know if anyone else has had similar things happen and if so, is my mixer totally screwed or can it be fixed?

Any help or advice would be muchly appreciated.

Left it upside down over night, tried it again this morning and its working.

Doesnt sound quite as good but at least its working
