I just want feed back from people who were there at Habana on what they thought of the whole night in General and What they thought of the Man Steve Lawler ?

Hey One_twisted! (Bubbles here) I'm soooo scattered. Lawler was amazing, but the first guy was really good too. It was great to hear some tracks from desire.
I just got my photos developed, and they're really good. We all looked very fucked. we were!
I can't stop talking about last night. It was so good. Sound was terrific! Everywhere you went on the dance floor, you were 'surrounded' by the music. I was impressed.
So good to meet you and your friends.
Catch ya soon. I'm going to try and get those photos put up on the web for all to see. I've got some GREAT ones of lawler doing what he does best.

p.s My jaw is so sore. I can't really open my mouth, and i can't eat, cause it hurts my teeth too much.

I'm still in shock from last night..... i'm just walking round fucked and just remembering that one Track....ANIALATING!!!.....you remember that one? God that pounded...i was suprised with the venue. when i first saw it i was worried it wouldn't handle what Lawler had to offer but it was really good.

I like the first guy but he didn't just play same tracks off Desire he played tracks from GU19 and he sort of did them in the same order....he had good tracks but it just seemed like he copied those 2 Albums....But thats just what i think from what i can remember hahah!!!

Those last 2 guys that played back to back....they played some nice prog stuff.....i left the same time as you so i dont know how they finished the night!!!

The long drive up...the COLD fuckin weather.....and the Scattered Drive back were all worth it. Lawler was Amazing!!!!

I'm just disapointed that i probably wont hear anything that good for a while Unless the rumours are true and DT is coming in August.

Well i'm off now Scattered and lost gotta get some rest. Hey you get some too ok...

Just to back up what my dearest Bubbles has to say:
Lawler was amazing! I found the first 1/2 hour or so of his set was excellent, and the rest i cant remember too well (although i loved every minute of it).

Good to meet up with all the inthemixers and bluelighters down from sydney - i know you all had a good night. And to all those people that say canberra nights cant rock - you missed out on a big one.

I think i will be talking about Lawler for a while to come he is No.1 with me now but take note i haven't seen Digweed or Tenaglia yet.....

if you liked the lawler set, check out his CD "Dark Drums" - pretty good (nowhere near as good as his set the other night).

Fresh man played nicely to. Liked Fools Gold for us old timers.

Habana's new(?) chill out room was pretty funny though.

Does anyone know what mix of Annihilation Lawler played? I have been searching for a while now and can only find it in a set that Sasha and Digweed did in late 1999. But no name..............

well thats a pretty good time to be comin up ful_sik, cause thats the w/end that winter breaks is on at the metro. fuzzy are the promoters and theyre awesome (they do sublime, kinkidisco@HOME) i went to autumn breaks and it was packed and sick... so winter breaks is pretty much guaranteed to be good.
not sure if your into hip/hop and break beats, but trust me autumn breaks was mad...

anyways keep us informed.... ps WTF is goin on with blulight? :meh:
