Sydney Beer Festival

I heard about this on VEGA FM this afternoon. That's right. I'm single, 40, live with my mum and like classic hits yet not of the WSFM or MIX variety.

It's being hosted at the Australian Hotel at the rocks on the October long weekend. Forget Parklife or any other event on that weekend. This whole forum makes me sick of clubbing. :P Instead indulge in the tastes of around 105 Aussie beers.

The great thing about (proper) beer tasting, unlike wine tasting, is that you actually swallow the beer to allow the hops, which provide the bitterness, to infuse the palate.

Australia has 105 varieties of beer :-O I am suitably impressed.

The most I have ever consumed is a stein of German beer. I am not a beer fan but that stuff was pretty nice. And when in Munich it is a sin NOT to drink a stein of German beer.
