PASSION VS gatecrasher

Is it just me, or was Pasion a far superior event to gatecrasher.
And it was only half the price, and wasnt like dancing in a tin of sardines.

Congrats to the promoters, keep up the good work.

The greatest thing about Passion was that it was an incredible example that the vibe is inifinitely more important than what DJ is playing or who's promoting the event or any other contributing factor.

When I cam away from Gatecrasher, although the DJs performed superbly, the production was sensational and I was still happy with the night, I couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right about the event. That special something was missing; and that something was present in abundance at Passion.

At Passion there were no pretenses. At Gatecrasher everyone came with some form of expectation of a euphoric pseudo-superclub trance experience and not surprisingly that wasn't what happened.

Passion was more down to earth, it got back to the roots and nobody was there to impress; neither the punters, the DJs or the pormoters. Everyone was there to have a great time and just enjoy our little Canberra family. It was aplace where for 9 hours of your life in this little pocket of the world not a damn thing mattered.

I loved this event and I'm sure everyone else did too and it was for all the right reasonsb because of the people and the atmosphere. It's not often you can walk away from an event with the satisfaction that you had with Passion. It's not often I can walk away from an event and feel inclined to say such things about it; even without sketchiness.

It was also an event where the name says it all. When you stop to think about it, everything about that night was Passionate.

When I say getting back to the roots I think to the future when Base Age returns on the 24th. Hold on because I think that night's going to be journey.

Passion sounds like it was a great night - if only I had gone! Gatecrasher was very disappointing.
