Just letting y'all know that what can most definitely be labelled as Canberra's biggest "techno" event yet is coming up shortly.
Dose is proud to bring to you the WETmusik Mixup Volume 004 CD Launch at Club Habana on Friday October 12th.
2 of the WETmusik label's finest acts, (DJ) Simon Digby and (Live Act) Alpharisc, are coming to share with us some tough deep, dark, progressive, percussive, tribal, bangin' techno.
Supported by local djs Marky, Ben Henderson, Atomic Theory and the deep-tech sounds of Ashley Feraude & Dylan Evans, plus the chunky experimental LIVE techno of the Wicked Tribe Collective, this night is set to pack a real punch.
So if you are up for an energy-filled night of serious quality tech-music, then this may well be the night you have been waiting for.
As usual the Dose team will be making every effort to ensure this will be a night that is cutting edge, both musically and in terms of the vibe created.
Friday October 12 2001, Club Habana. Doors open 11:30. Tickets $20.
* Wetmusik Mixup Volume 4 featuring Simon Digby and Alpharisc (Live) is available now. Track it down at your faourite local music store. This CD was recorded live in July at RMIT's Storey Hall, and having heard the previous WETmusik release, I can honestly say this crew throw the most amazing wild parties you can imagine. Dose will be giving away signed copies of the CD on the night, but if you can't wait, go get it now. You will not be disappointed. *
Flyers are out now.
