I caught a glimpse at the flyer for this the other day, lineup looks well nice :) Stoked Nubreed are playing coz i missed them last time @ habana and have been regretting it ever since. Anywayz, let's start a discussion on this production shall we? :)

*there are like 15 total acts to play on the night, so surely there's gonna be more than one room... right?

ok the headlines are: Bexta GT Nubreed and Mark Dynamix

my question is... without dogging any of the above people - esp Nubreed and MD, my faves of the above - for something being billed as Canberra's biggest ever most monster event, where's the international headliner(s)? I'm a bit curious coz its not like there aren't TONS of intl acts in Syd the following(or is it previous) week for Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, and over summer in general.


will I be there? would have to say only maybe at this tage. $40 to see these acts, or $100 to see Hybrid live, Sander Kleinberg, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, James Lavelle etc at GCSS... hmmm........

cos twisted know that they'll fill the place without getting the international names in, which they'll have to pay heaps more for... look at when Bexta played @ habana a couple of months back and how mental that was, i remember someone saying on this board that they knew someone who payed something like $180 for a ticket i recall...not having a go at Bexta or nothing (big props to her and sony for marketing her so well) but really she aint that good....

I agree with both. It's going to be a huge event, both in attendance and the level of production, but it still doesn't immediately seem as impressive a lineup as TG002.

Curious to see how the night pans out. Dissapointed about GT though; after Odyssey I can safely say he's a DJ I would really rather not see again. Was hoping the slot would be filled by someone of more magnitude.
