I've sent about 30 people to that site over the years and no-one has returned unhappy.
sometimes they jack the price up to ~$320 but just wait until they return to $260 odd.

i buy heaps of stuff from Chemical records. Recently i bought a pair of hd-25s without any hassles. It's treated the same as if you were buying records.
Got mine for 100 pounds even (including freight)
Does anybody know anyone that stocks a replacement cord for the hd's?
Melbourne: www.48records.com (http://www.48records.com/)
Sydney: www.spankrecords.com.au (http://www.spankrecords.com.au/)
They both sell the Sennheiser range, so they should have all replacement parts available too.

Grabbed my HD25's from Chemical a few months ago. No issues whatsoever, around $235 landed. Highly recommended! :)
re replacements.... ths senn's distro will repair and replace direct, google for the name of them, or go throught the senn site.
they're not cheap though.
They have a sale right now for the HD-25's so get them now????
BTW, does anyone like their new layout????

I'm not a big fan of the new layout. The other way was so much easier on the eyes. I think they've cheapened themselves somewhat by that layout.
new layout = tops... about time they got a decent interface.

I bought a set of Beyerdynamic dt990 pro's from these guys a few months ago.
Not only was it at a great price but also the delivery was quicker then anything I've ever ordered from the UK.
Highly highly recommended from my point of view. :thumb:

When are seinheiser, gonna realise that everyone in Aus buys their headphones from Europe anyway, and stop inflating the price for retail over here., unless its got somthing to do with import tax...
also just noticed some guys selling a load of these in the selling forum.. (worst thing i ever did selling mne, im off to get some more.)

I am thinking of ordering some HD25 from there too, works out $250 instead of $390...originally was going to get the Pio, but it seems the HD25 are it.

I owned the Pioneers previously but they broke on the hinge.
Go the HD-25. If you can buy them for $250 its a much better option IMO.

Yeah I will go with HD25, right now I have the HD515 and the sound is awsome but they are open, so definetly looing forward to HD25...

Mine too... their pieces of crap... the only thing more disappointing is pioneer's warranty support...
Yeah, really good price. Some poor guy on ebay just bought a used pair for $310 + shipping.

Yeah it was a big dissapointment. The headphones are actually quite good while they are in working condition. I was playing at a party when they broke so I was not happy at all. I contacted Pioneer and they wanted to charge me approx $130 to fix them!!! I look after my gear and they still managed to break. Common problem I hear.
Anyway the HD-25 have been great so far. They are comfortable & lightweight, they sound great and the parts are replaceable. I have had mine for about a year now and have not had to replace anything on them as yet. The local price is pretty steep but $250 from Chemical is much more reasonable.

Got the Sennys from Chemical Record
Arrived in 7 days...very good followup after order was placed.
I had tried them (With no sound) in JB Hifi, but never noticed how good the isolation was, as a matter of fact the isolation is quiet amazing...this aint no $30 headphones.
The sound is very clear, so off to more beatmixing with treble...
