has anyone picked up the flyer for twisted revolution? sorry, r:evolution (how postmodern). very slick. what's with "the irony of ecstacy" printed on it???
am very much looking forward to nubreed and the convention centre as a venue - does anyone know whether it's non-smoking? it would actually be quite refreshing to be able to dance without dodging stray burning cigarettes. convention centre will be ace for lasers as well as the high ceilings which i have learnt, from many years of reading various physics journals, increase air flow, lessen heat buildup and therefore, minimise sweaty raver syndrome. (the crap i write when i am in procrastination mode is astounding sometimes.)

It is non-smoking as far as I know; 99.9% sure.

Looking good for some sensation (and incredibly expensive) production. Oracle Lasers are indeed set for a workout. I'm hoping that on top of going nuts with the lasers the Twisted guys are going to back them up with plenty of moving lights ala Passion. =)

I'm not an expert but my understanding is that high ceilings make laser operation difficult (you need to fill the room with smoke in order to defract the light) so smoke machines will have to be working overtime (maybe smokers would help the situation ;)) I assume there will be no smoking so there will be hundreds of people milling around outside all the time (sure to annoy the general public)

Man that "Irony of Ecstacy" is such a joke. I spose Twisted have to do something to sell tickets to all the people that think ecstacy is cool... I have a feeling that there may be some sort of personal joke behind it though

i think you'll find that "The Irony of Ecstacy" is the slogan of the AFP's new Drug (Ecstacy) awareness program...saw the brochure in LandSpeed today...

nah i doubt it... twisted probably just under pressure from the fudge or maybe they just trying to portray a responsible image to the wider community or something, who knows what goes on in those twisted minds of theirs?!?! =]
