I've only seen one episode this week, has Harold been found out yet??

A cyclone hits the town of Summer Bay (which is technically on the central NSW coast)
Cyclones cant develop any further than 22 degrees south of the equator..... so even Brisbane, QLD (25 degrees approx) would have trouble getting a cyclone let alone the mid coast of NSW
Just think that when the writers become this lazy the show has finally got evidence that it needs to be taken off air.

i am an 'out of the closet' neighbours fan. but lately i have to admitt that the story lines have been really bad. the harold s'line is pretty lame, as is any s'line that involves toaddie, conor, or stuart.
imo 2004 was a really good year for neighbours. according to my lecturer (media studies), it was even getting good reviews from accademics and industry critics. it was the year that featured the jack sculley 'partying' and izzy, karl and susan love triangle s'lines.

muntedraver, i agree with you that h&a is a really awful show.
in saying that, soap operas cannot really be faulted for being too unrealistic. soap operas are like a condensed version of real life. they often feature a number of s'lines that could realistically happen in a number of different places, but are unlikely to happen all in the one street (neighbours) or town (summer bay). it's similar to blue heelers. ie. it is unlikely that there would be that much crime in mount thomas. if soap operas were realistic they would be boring.

SPIN king Shane Warne will make his acting debut on the popular soap, Neighbours.
The Australian cricket star will perform before the cameras at Ramsay Street while his estranged wife Simone embarks on her own celebrity career, spinning around on Dancing With The Stars.
Neighbours executive producer Ric Pellizzeri said he was thrilled that Warne would visit the country's most famous television address.
"The cast and crew are incredibly excited to be working with one of Australia's greatest sportsman," he said.
But Warne's appearance will be shortlived. He will be filmed for a day before heading to England to join another cricket season.

If they're attempting to educate kids to start wearing condoms/practicing safe sex, surely at some point there must be a consequence to an action?
If she shags someone without protection who has hiv, and doesn't contract it, then surely that's saying to a whole new bunch of kiddies "don't worry about protection, everything will be ok"..it's socially irresponsible.

its a shame really, i started watching the show about 18 months ago to research a bit into it after landing an audition to play 'dylan timmins' and then 'rob/cam robinson' a year later and i've become addicted.. its so bad, its good :crazy:

And neighbours is a bit better than like midday soaps in that the story lines move a bit quicker, I swear I used to get so frustrated with passions because it would take months for stuff to happen and some secrets have been kept for years even without coming out.
