For me it's Under Siege.

This movie has all the elements of a great film.

- Good plot (Ex Navy-SEAL turned chef saving the world)
- Decent Soundtrack (Blowing shit up to Voodoo Chile)
- Classic MacGyver moments (Incorporating condoms into explosives)
- Gunfights (Machine Guns, Pistols, Rockets Cannons etc)
- Explosions - (Soothes the inner pyro within us all)
- Human Dismemberment (Fuck yeah!)
- Knife fights (Seriously, every movie needs a knife fight or two for good measure)
- Great one-liners ("Do you like being dead?")
- Rockstar/Badguy (Tommy Lee Jones)
- Hot Chick (Erika Eleniak)

Best movie ever imho.

Under seige 2 touched me in a special place when I was a kid, so I had to vote for it.

Hard to kill comes a close second simply due to the fact that only steven seagal can pick up a hot nurse while in a coma!

that man is my hero!

For pure steven segal hilarity its a tossup between Nico Above the Law, hard to kill or On Deadly Ground.

Nico for the he might be in the mafia, but is still a cop + sharon stone

Hard to kill for the hillarious coma and training montage with general ultra violence.

On deadly ground for the awesome eskimo mystic scenes + bar room brawl 'what does it take to change the essence of a man' extra points for michael cane, macgyver booby traps, coke bottle silencer, also the awesome save the environment monolouge at the end.

Has to be Under Seige for real favourite.

Although I do love the one where he is in a coma for seven years - Hard to Kill.

Honourable mention : the one with the rasta-ganstas - Marked for Death

You totally can't go past Under Siege. The second one was fucking rad, but yeah, gotta hand it to the original, for all the reasons silvaside mentioned.

under siege 2 the closely followed by nico above the law. what about his 2 minute cameo in executive decision? did that not count?

You'd have to give the nod to Under Siege. He had neck snapping down to a fine art. I can't remember how many times I'd rewind Erika's little dance - not too many actually because I couldn't hang on very long!

But also Hard to Kill, Nico and Glimmer man are winners.

What's the one where he is on the train?
I watched that on TV the other day.
But it was dubbed over in Japanese.

Hillarious!

Hard to Kill for me - though i never got over the fact that five minutes after coming out of a 10 year coma he was fighting off ten guys with karate kicks to the head.

not so much a girl, his head just stays perfectly still and he doesn't swing his arms. Bizarro!

I love the exchange between travis dane and his goon:

TD: "did you see his body?"
G: "I assumed he was dead"
TD: "assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups"
