BDO = jurassic fuckin 5! plus a whoooooole lotta very notable others. Such a wide spectrum of music, it's gonna be sweet. i'm down.

Vibes = layo & bushwacka!, Tayo, Jimiroquai and a fraction of portishead. Those are the highlights. Looks fair tasty, but what are you paying for? honestly.

BDO is where the value is.

Not only does it have a totally kick arse line up this year, but the production values have been getting better every year...
Now i knew there would be way too many evil clashes this year but here are some of them at the sydney show...

For me it's the big day out for sure.
New Order are the band that made me go out and buy a bass guitar when I was sixteen so I could play like Hooky. They got me into Arthur Baker, House music, extended remixes, and made me want to learn how to play keyboards and sample things. I still play bass, but I still can't play like Hooky:)
Oh yeah...I'm lucky enough to travel in Japan now and then; if you are going to any of the BDOs, check out Audio Active (they seem to be playing early round 1pm)...they are a great electronic dub outfit from Tokyo who do fantastic things (pity they've been put up against the amazing Infusion in the same timeslot...aargh the dilemmas of who to see at festivals.

I'm just stoked New Order are coming to Australia and I have a ticket,

Personally, I can't do big festivals any more - too many f-wits, too uncomfortable... I like gigs with less than 5000 punters these days - jeez, I sound like an old geeza! Just turned 27 and time is draggin' me down... not really. I just know what I like, as do we all.

Not to drag them down though, each to his/her own. As I said, enjoy you party freaks!!! :)

Ruff, I agree totally.... its still worth it to me to go to BDO and stuff since I simply love J5, and am really lookin forward to da prodge and SOaD aswell, but I see ya point, way too many drunken "tough" ppl, and just too many ppl in general
