Awwww yeahhhhh! That's a phat lineup. I've been keen to see tiesto for ages. Twotribes will be swoooooit. DJ Hyper deserves alot more praise and status than he has. Anyone heard the Hyper & Rhymes remix of Josh Abraham's "addicted to bass"??? Absolute stormer! He's also responsible for the first two installments of the Y4K series as well as the first (highly acclaimed) breakbeat compilation on bedrock (yep, diggerz' label) which i am keen to hunt down in coming months. I also hear he carpools and fights for animal rights! ;o) maybe not the last two. But damn it's good that he's coming out here.
P.S anyone else think that Mauro Picotto looks like a big scary druglord?
Mauro does look like one of those mafia druglords, I don't think much of him anyway, I'm so excited about Tiesto though :) as well as lawler, Fleming, Ornadel, howells etc... I mainly like trance though but am getting into breaks lately, can thank Typhonic for that one, I loved the set at twisted revolution..
u'd love freq nasty at twotribes then... as breakz junkie once told me: he is a wizard.
question is... will the sydney lineup be the same as Melbournes? because whenever a future entertainment gig comes to sydney a number of the internationals always seem to drop off the bill, such as the Slinky and Godskitchen tours of last year
isn't that because they are basically different organisations?
future ent in syd is managed by halo... aka retro, rollercoaster, pure pop

really?? pure pop rules btw
Retro on the other hand... the sydney version of southpacs
well they're both the same ppl. just playing different cds
i thought the plastic mob usually handled the gigs in Sydney for Future Entertainment Melbourne?
dont really have a clue, but was just making the observation that whenever FE melb bring a superclub tour or something over and it makes it to Sydney it never has all the international lineup or production values of the melbourne gig eg. Slinky Melbourne was held at melbourne park for about 8000 people with about ten internationals (im guessing here(memorys going)) whereas the sydney leg was held at gas for probably 1500-2000 people max(?) and had three internationals
and was just hoping that they dont do the same with two tribes, cos sydney is a hell of a lot easier to get to...

Isnt pure pop a 77 thing? or am i thinking of something else, and pure pop might be a level in that retro building?? BTW the hi-nrg floor there scared the living hell out of me last time i was there, podiums and gabba... i could have sworn they threw in some Bloody Fist... the girl i was with made me leave :(
On the subject of FE gigs - generally i think whilst plastic has picked up a couple of them, i dont know if its a solid partnership. I think plastic just leeches the gigs off FE... At least thats the goss i got told last night, amongst other things, by people who pretend to know way too much about the scene up here in sydney... (thank god i live in canberra!! we think the bitchings bad in canberra... oh my god...)

this is gonna be sweeeeeeet.....
I wish B.L.I.M. was playing in Sydney aswell as Perth! I wanna see B.L.I.M.!!!!!!!!
But it will still be hella sweet......!!! YAY!!!
it aint all ages.....read the news item on the sydney page...just another of those vicious rumours....and yes Brisbane and Sydney are on the same day...but never fear Brisbane is 12-12 and Sydney 9pm-7or8am and all the acts will be flying between the cities at 11pm in class on Mick Doohan's Lear Jet...so if we lose one of em we lose em all =]
No, don't need to read the news item, cos when I had a look on the ticketek website to get tix, it had something about id required for some areas blah blah...go have a look!
but, doesn't mention this for melboure, qld etc...so not real sure!!
hahah sorry,I am wrong - something that normally does not happen  hehehe
yeh it is over 18's
yay!!
