I just came in to show off Dougal - my avatar - because he rocks!

Thanks everyone ;)

You can now rest assured that the Dougal invasion will be contained to sensible posts

regarding avatar definitions, i know this got discussed on one of the other forums, perhaps sydney or general.

i know that jen even dropped in her own definition together with source information, so perhaps yell across the room at her for some answers :)

Here is the definition of avatar:

1. The incarnation of a Hindu deity, especially Vishnu, in human or animal form.
2 An embodiment, as of a quality or concept; an archetype: the very avatar of cunning.
3. A temporary manifestation or aspect of a continuing entity: occultism in its present avatar.
4. An image representing a user in a multi-user virtual reality (or VR-like, in the case of Palace) space.

Interesting :)
