OK, as u've probably heard, BDO tickets are now sold out. My friend is one of the unlucky ones who just missed out from getting a ticket by a few hours. He is willing to pay 130 or more (negotiable) for one ticket. So if ur a scalper or someone who has a spare ticket, please please sell it to him. if u are interested in selling, feel free to e-mail me at demonkitten@hotmail.com, and we'll discuss details ;)

thanks heaps
palu

Hey Palu... every year I also partake in what my best mate and i like to call "The Big Night Out". This is where they release about 2000 tickets at 9am one morning, and you camp out all night with about 500 of your closest music fan friends... If its on again, i will be lining up for my allocated 4 tickets (even though i already have my own) and would gladly be willing to help out canberra kids get the chance to see such amazing acts as Audio Active, Peaches and Dave Clarke (but i wont sell them to anyone who wants to see Basement Jaxx. Basement Jaxx fans can go to hell, go to hell and then die!)
Ill keep this forum informed.

Dont know yet mate, will keep y'all informed if and when its announced (join us - for one night camping out you get four tickets to the big day out at cost price!).
Last year it was lining up around the block from the Ticktek on hunter st in the city, BUT now that its a Ticketmaster7 i dont know if they will do it this year. I hope so, its fun - bring a slab, a pouch of rollies (even if you dont smoke) and set up shop from 12 noon the day before...

A friend of mine also missed out by a few hours. Please email me if there are any spare ones floating around.

Pouch of rollies to mix with whacky 'erb I suppose? why mix?? Only in Australia is the price of natures favourite weed higher than gold (and NZ of course :-), and besides, gold is toxic to smoke anyway!

cheers

Nah... you need them to give to all the people in the line who will scab off you... the line i dont smoke means you are now "one of those stingy bastards" and noone wants to be called stingy...
Why mix your 'erb? Indeed.
(although im of the policy not to burn it either... but thats what happens when you spend a year with pathetic stoners... the gloss and glamour goes out the window with the 75th playing of a led zeplin record and another go of the bucket...)

Last year, I got there round the time gates were due to open, and there were announements made regulary that tix were on sale ..so I would suggest you get there early ..
This is done to stop the scalpers, also, last year, they released a number of tix a few days b4 the event..
so good luck!

Ah yes indeed Lisa... they always have enough tickets on the door to ward off scalpers (not like 1000's, but enough if you get there early). What she says has been true of the last 3 BDO's btw.
It doesnt halt my enthusiasm for the BNO though! (this year if its on, we are bringing the decks... well if we scope out a power point that is...)

Hmmm...I missed out on Sydney BDO tickets as well, but my plan this year is to do the Melbourne mission instead (Virgin Blue are doing one-way tickets from Canberra for $70)...plus I think New Order are doing a solo show the Sunday night before... Good luck to all of you who are going to camp out for tickets; hope you all manage to get in the gates...

Actually, it wasn't so for the b.d.o in year 2000, there were basically NO tix sold at homebush and heaps of ppl wanting to buy them, with ppl paying HEAPS.. Only last year were tix reserved..so hopefully this year the same will occur to all those lazy asses who didn't get theirs b4hand :PP
