What did everyone (who went) think of the Woolshed as a venue? The bouncing floorboards, the rustic feel, the dusty cars/shoes/arses/irritating underagers (no offence)... the only real prob i had was the lack of seating outside/anywhere..... if you wanted to chill, and still listen to tha music, while having a chat, there was nowhere particularly suitable. What are YOUR thoughts?
yeah... it was alrite...music was pretty cool. altho how funny was it crowie, when we arrived and there was like 5 people dancing and the rest of the kids are sitting around posing, i mean wtf! why pay 20 bux to come to a venue and just pose. however it did get better when it was past their bedtime and the real party people came out. the dj b4 anjay was particuarly good... does anyone remeber who it was? anjay was pretty cool too.... but fu.ck drum n bass is so tiring to dance to.
all in all, it was an interesting but fun nite.

before anjay was kaos vs Wicked I do believe. Yeah cool night, all ages is cool we need new blood in the system, but there was a crew of 5, aprox 15 year old home boy wannabe types, they were just walking arround being dickheads, they were picking a fight with some dude at the end of the night, security (was there any) should of taken care of them...
I thought it rocked, big improvement from when they had parties there in 97 and stuff. There arent any holes in the floor and half the boards are not rotting away. The sounds was good too now that the place has electricity, not some motor generator working away thats just as loud as the music.
There was security there some old guard there that was like 50 so i dont think he would of done much and some other guy.

Yeah! Good party venue for sure. Good sound up front, good reverb up the back, good vibrations through the floorboards, and cool atmosphere. Keep going Kaotic and Ruckus productions. I dig D'n'B and breaks, so I thought the sounds were great, and the vibe was friendly (except for that little annoying punk).
To be or not to be 18 and over?
Personally, I don't care. If you like the music and like to shake ya booty, then go for it. I had a great time despite the young crowd, but still, there needed to be a few older crew there to balance it out....the young-uns just don't quite know how to get the vibe REALLY f##kin pumpin yet. An over 18 event at the Woolshed would go off, but I would hope that people aren't discouraged simply because an event is "all ages".
Bring on more parties at the Woolshed!!
