I love the Fords.

I am in a V8 Dream Team competition with a mate and I have Craig as a driver and Stone Brothers as one of my teams.

Having said that, I have picked 2 Ford drivers and 2 Holden drivers, but that's more a cap issue.

Would have loved to have all Fords :D

Ford or Holden FTW. Duopolists rule V8.

Courtney has been off the pace this week qualifying out of the top 10 (17th).

I think its abit earley to expect podiums from him but im sure he will get some good results this year with some more experience.........

Well, are you a fan of the Roosters or a Bunnies man?

For me it comes from childhood. My old man always drove Fords and we never owned a Vauxhall. Vauxhalls offset steering wheel and strange pedal set up meant that they were never pleasant cars to drive for me or my dad.

Ford's however seemed to "fit". They were great cars, easy to work on, reliable and parts were cheap when you did your servicing.

Vauxhalls on the other hand were always temperamental. Even though I own a Vectra today, I wouldnt do if I lived in the UK. It's just that there were no Mondeo's and I wanted a mid sized car and find Jap cars boring as batshit to drive.

If I was going to buy a car today, I would buy the Focus, not the Astra.

Who knows where brand loyalty comes from, but for some of us it stick and cheering for a car from a brand you have no love of seems strange.

Oh and having a vested interest in a brand makes the races seem more important to the spectator.

It's hardly exciting if you dont care who wins and who loses.

See, now, I have no brand loyalty whatsoever, but if there was a few other car brands I could understand being loyal to a brand. But seriously, I think I just really don't understand motorsport in general. F1 is cool but I really have no loyalty to a brand, it's not community based whatsoever, and they are mostly corporations who exist only to profiteer to the excess.

Hey but, I'm a motherfucking elitest motherfuckers, I'll shoot you down; shoot you down in Chinatown.

Craig Lowndes!!

I'm a Holden girl at heart and have followed him from the early days. Although I wish he were still driving for Holden not Ford :( his driving ability shits all over anyone else, great to see him back in top form! :thumb:
