As the thread title suggests, what is your food of choice to compliment your alcohol diet?
Personally pretzels or Red Rock Deli chips are an absolute winner when drinking beer. :thumb:
<MCSphinx> mine is usually brie and crackers (if i'm feeling classy and shit)
<MCSphinx> but tonight it's prawn crackers

I thought a condiment was a sauce, spice, seasoning or relish?
But foods i like with my alcohol - mcdonalds nuggets and chips with bbq sauce OR cheese burgers OR a chicken kebab with the lot and LOTS of garlic sauce.
^^
Dollbaby, i too believed that a condiment was something along the lines of this...
"A condiment is a substance applied to food in the form of a sauce, powder, spread, or similar, to enhance or improve the flavour. Condiments are typically smeared with knives, squirted, or sprinkled onto other foods. "
however, based on other responses, i think condiments to itmers are pretty much any food item... :|

Beer & Pizza
Wine & light meals (cheese & crackers, bread and dip etc)
Spirts & Chips ?
I tend not to eat anything when boozing, takes up stomach room.
However a slice of pizza before bedtime will stop my hangovers, i particularly rate the bacon and cheese from the by the slice joint on Hindley St Adelaide, 3 whole rashers per slice.

Unfortunately everyone has been taking this thread seriously and replying with genuine answers. It was a good idea at the time I guess...

Pork rinds and beef jerky are great for diabetics or if you're just feeling a bit fat and over-carbed. Otherwise homemade nachos goes down a treat (Doritos+Mexebeans+Colby+Tabasco ftw). I discovered Saturday night that brie on Vitaweats goes great with beer. Chips are a given, anything from Red Rock to Smiths to Pringles. Beer nuts are alright, but overrated.
The Dutch have the best idea, though. Bitter balls.
