almost complete celeron 433 pc for sale

selling my old box due to upgrade:

-celeron 433 mhz with asus motherboard - plenty of pci slots (and an AGP? slot) for sound cards, video cards etc

-8 speed acer burner

-256 mb stick of sd ram

-all in the case with powersupply

just needs a HD, a FDD and some sort of PCI video card fitted for full operation.. also an open slot for another CD-rom..

runs real nice, makes a good server :)

i need a pc purely for recording mixes and burnin em. i dont really know too much bout computers tho. what would it cost to like get a shitty 2nd hand monitor and those other parts u speak of??? oh... and how much do u want for ur system? private message me if u like. its not really a need more of a want. my folks have a computer but im thinking of moving out soon and am gonna want a setup of my own.

in your opinion, can it handle running a midi system? i need a system that can handle sampling etc and also access the net.
Don't worry about me being in Sydney, i have family down there and often drop down to melb every so often.
But your system has no monitor or extra plug in's does it?

JJ that will handle a midi system no worries a 486 will give ya good midi performance :lol:

i used a p2 350 /128 meg ram and it used to pull up no worries for sampling:)

jabbajaws it'll handle midi and music stuff quite nicely with a fast harddrive and decent soundcard

many of my own mixes recorded and burned onto this pc in over the last 2 years :)

its still up for grabs if anyone is interested..
