I generally don't eat a lot of sugar - I try to exclude all processed foods from my diet and I don't add sugar to my food. Partly this is because I am hypoglycemic and I tend to try and avoid sugar and eat low GI food to keep my blood suar levels stable.

That said, due to easter I have been indulging in a few easter eggs and other assorted sugary treats.

For the last week I have not been feeling very good, generally lethargic, finding it hard to get to sleep and wake up in the morning and I have also had some pretty long lasting headaches and achy joints. Just generally off colour, really.

I've been thinking about it carefully, and the only thing I can think of which has been different in the last week is my sugar intake. I'm also starting to really crave sugar, which I rarely used to do.

So, is there anything is this? Can the sugar be making me feel bad?

Or is it just coincidental timing and I'm coming down with a virus or something?

would definately make u feel lethargic due to the up and down insulin levels.

probly a mixture of both

sugar can have an impact. i've come to think that it's different for different people, i'm certainly not someone that copes with heaps of sweet food, lollies = death. but plenty of people (including many who are fit and active) seem to have a sweet tooth.

from what you've said i think you know it impacts on you more than it would on most people. but there is a nasty flu around at the moment too so rest up!
