Just wondering what's people's views on these?

I'm a girl, trying to increase my protein intake while lowering my carbs. Am not a fan of eating tonnes of meat/dairy.

^lol

Anyway, try protein powder, just look for one that is low in carbs (Designer Whey stuff is usually good for that, but there are lots of different brands out there).

I also eat a lot of tuna - I have it with vegies or a salad for a meal and also have small cans for snacks. If you like tuna it is great - low fat high protein.

HPLC (High protein low carb) branded bars are by far the most disgusting protein bar I have ever tasted. Money better spent on a powder...or at least a better bar!!!

Just make your own bars at home? There are plenty of recipes on the net for protein bars.

Yeah the choc/choc ones are nasty however the growling dog wild berry is worse !

Not sure the brand name but there is a cookies and cream one that is fantastic.

Give the Aussie Bodies Perfect Protein Choc Mint ones a go, they're the only ones I can really stomach and have one of thse handy when I'm on the go. The Choc and Coconut ones are a little yuk for my liking. :-*
I think their website is aussiebodies.com.au or something like that. I get mine from Coles (cheaper than the website and health shops) they usually have them on special so I'll by a box of 12 when they are.
