can anyone recommend any mixes of that herbert minimal house sound??
i have herbert lets all make mistakes & Dan Bell tresor globus mix only... i need more!

well - for a start, get yourself a copy of Herberts Bodily Functions n top it off with the Secondhand Sounds double he put out where he remixes EVERYONE (check out the recloose rmx or the moloko rmx)

some Jan Jelinek stuff is like that - eg. sequin one

jake mandell also has some nice little swing type jazzy click(ish) tunes

top of the lot tho goes to villalobos' rmx of isolee's 'beau mot plage'

can't get that track out of my head - it's in my blood!!!!!

Try DJs Take Control mixed by Stuart Patterson (Keep Diggin' Records) - dunno who the local dist. is but you can get it for a nice price at Soundwaves Bondi Beach. Call 9130-8075.

Features tracks from Morgan Geist, Global Communications and King Britt (not so minimal but you might like it)

Not a mix but the new CD by Benjamin Wild (Forcetracks) has some distinctive Herbert percussion clicks. Wild also has some stella releases on Perlon.
