Get the remix by Chris Liebing, it's by far the best of the lot!!!

The Liebing remix is on his label, CLRNYC.... along with the original and a Ricardo Villalobos remix....

Drex: Certainly did! I didn't like it very much, a little to soft for my liking... :p

Yeah dude the song is called "One Night In New York City" by The Horrorist. It's an absoloute killer track - lot's of fun watching the expressions on people's faces when I first played it. I don't know if you would still be able to get it on vinyl since it's quite old (about a year or so) but it was realesed on CD as well.

Tracks:
1. Chris Liebling Remix (best)
2. Pascal F.E.O.S Remix
3. Original Mix

Drex: from what I've seen on this forum you'd love the villalobos remix.. It an absolute f.ucking killer

The leibing mix rocks too, so does the original

only my opinion, but i think the tracks terrible. that includes the remixes. its a gimmick track, and the gimmick is pretty lame.

like i said, my opinion :)

I just got my hands on another track by the horrorist called "the virus" very funny and in the same vain.

"Its about how sometimes people do bad bad things"
"One day he was walking home from an afterhours club high on cocaine, and he looked at all the ludricous people going to wok r in the bright sunlite and thought to himself, I am going to destroy the world" etc...

Yeah sure it is kind of gimmyky but it is really well done production wise and totaly rocks a floor. Anyway this one has a Ben Sims mix, pretty minimal vocal's compared to the original.

I picked up a copy at the local Vinyl Exchange !. Only got because of its novelty value and that has worn thin lately !.

If you are after a copy real bad e-mail me.

Ciao

Yeah, I found it a bit dull too... and I can't understand how anybody could find it scary. The song's just talking about shagging on a pill; it's not describing mass homocide or anything :)

i find the vocals abit disturbing.. it makes me shudder..
im not the greatest fan of techno but if there was a dub of it it would make the track alot fkn beta..

I guess I put this track in the same box as "Smack my bitch up"
the vocal doesnt do jack 4 me but the soundz'n'rhythmz rock!
interesting to hear other opinions though........

agree compressed - a fairly poor gimmick in my view.

i fink the samples/lyrics should complement the track rather than make it. if you're going to do the latter it has to be an absolute killer sample. this it not that.
