it actually goes down a lot smoother coz ur not drinking it from the end that the bubbles are going towards. please share your funnel experiences. i used to drink a lot of beer from funnels at parties when i was a student. ive also drunk goon from a funnel and that gets you really shitfaced really fast. its bad. but kinda fun. my mate bob had a funnel and he named it 'Funwell the Funnel'. He was really fond of funwell which i found quite amusing. tall kenyan guy in love with a piece of plastic piping but each to thier own i suppose.

Sadly it was left at someones house and I have never made one again. I used to like inflicting it on other people mainly. Altough I had been on the receiving end once or twice.

Noteable memorables included the dirt-filled AFL grand final funnel (six in a row at half-time... couldnt be arsed watching the lions win again), the mixed-berry-passion-pop-bottle funnel with a shot of beam mixed in at the top for that delightful taste at the end... and the long-time favourite - a funnel with a small cordless drill motor attached to push the beer down faster (I believe this one ended up on the news with some kid tearing his stomach lining with it...).

They also make quite a good wind instrument - kind of cross between a didge and a trumpet.

Onto the old school pre-mixes - XLR8s were that gurana filled crap... the survey says... ba-bow! 2 dogs were tha bomb, as were Sub Zeros.. and of course, good ol' Lemon Ruski's (which still seem to be around). Vaguely recall having one of those test tube drinks once - cant remember if I liked it though. All good fun.

I drink beer. There is nothing better than a cold one on a nice day.
But unlike a lot of people, I drink because I enjoy it - not to get drunk. Sometimes I enjoy my drinks too much and do get drunk. But I rarely start drinking with the intent on getting shitfaced. So I never really saw the attraction in drinking through a funnel.
But you never know, oneday I might be temporarily insane and give it a go ;)
