I've got this Paul van Dyk set, an essential mix from '99... in the middle of it is a track that is absolutely suparockin, but I have no idea what it's called. the tracklisting on tracklistings.org is a little sketchy for this set, so it was no help...

And a lot of the tracks are really sped up. I was wondering if this is typical PVD style, or not?

Anyway seen him live? Any ideas?

It's not mayday.. It's PVD live from the Gallery, Turnmills (2/4/99) The first 60 mins is shit cos it's pete tong playing :p, unless you're lucky enough to get a pre-split version. This is perhaps one of his greatest classic sets (cos it had all the songs I loved just as i was getting into trance) The song you're talking about is just before Because of my Dreams, the only thing I can find is that it is a mix of Because of my dreams (by 2 digital, but sometimes credited as Seb Fontaine, don't ask me why) and is apparently a white label.. you might have to ask Mr Van Dyk :)

Why do people get so worked up about the Dyke thing. It's like it's fashionable or something to criticise people who spell it wrong

So one person got it wrong.. no need to show off how good you are by yelling at him. Unless you are mr van Dyk - and you really care anyway...
