So confusing.... I thought I liked progressive.... but after Mr S's comments in the Adventjah thread apparently I despise everything but techno!
What is a voter to do? ;)
Just teasing Mr S :p
How about deep soulful house?

Well Beekayz, if you were more precise in your choice of words in your original post, then I wouldn't now make that assumption would I? ;)

I had it waiting for you next to Michaela & Paul at Back To Mine last night but you were nowhere to be found!
It's probably warm by now. So..that would make it your shout, right? :D
Nice to see that Adelaide is a progressive town!!

Hey, if anyone threw The Cure in every now and then I'd be a happy girl......
Doesn't Minke have a breaks night? Could be confused but I seem to remember that they did.

Dusted@Minke on Sat nights is breaks. I think they had Regal (Wiseguys / Bronxdogs) and the 2 Dogs (Dave Atkins & DJ Katch) last night.

I agree! My boufriend plays breaks and I love nuthin better then bopping around his bedroom in my undies while he's practising mixin' in the mornin' ;) I believe The Captain has referred to Breaks as '94 Jungle on Smack'
you can hear some breaks from K2 at Red Room on fridays earlier on in the evening
i didnt think that DnB was big in adelaide either, hopefully this means there'll be a good crowd at acetate this saturday

If you want quality breaks Minke and Fabric are bringing down arguably the worlds best breaks DJ and the worlds best live breaks show in an exclusive vs. set.
Phil K VS. Nubreed - Fri 14 June - Minke Bar
90min live set
More details coming soon . . .
Nubreed?:D
saw nubreed at Two Tribes this year and loved them

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude - ARE YOU SERIOUS? There is currently something in the vicinity of 8 dnb nights on in Adelaide every week. I think you;re like the dude in the Skycity ad, you need to get out more. I think you'll find Acetate quite packed. PLUS DJ Craze (3 times DMC winner) on Sunday night AND 21C featuring Cause for Concern on Sunday too! Adelaide LOVES dnb dude LOVES IT. I think you best get ya head down to Inbound on June 1 at Crown n Sceptre - 4th Birthday - it is gonna be huge! (ps - I'm covering it for ITM so stay tuned!)
come on, fair go, i do get out plenty, and i'm aware of there being DnB nights around Adelaide that i get to once in a while. I just find that in general there are more hardcore trance and house fans out there rather than hardcore DnB fans
maybe youre right, maybe i do just need to get out more:)

Aki: please don't do out more. I'm sick of seeing your face! ;)
I think the reason you didn't realise that drum & bass is so popular is because almost all your friends are into progressive. So you don't go to many places where drum & bass is played so don't talk to many people into it.
with the exception of one mad drum & bass girl who's name starts with a C who dragged you to Allure on Friday night :)

Sadly enough, I don't think this poll is a fair reflection of the state of the Adelaide scene.
Still dominated by HH/D'N'B and what I term "Wank-Haus" Fabric's probably the only serious progressive night in Adelaide IMHO.

Agreed. A party in Adelaide is NRG and DnB. You can go to club/pub for some DnB 5 nights a week. Progressive it is not. The Adelaide ITM forum doesn't reflect the scene at all
