Aight. Anyone have any idea who is going to be coming through for it? All I've seen is a Kevin Blechdom poster on someone's myspace and a rumor of some kind of breakcore showcase.
Anyone know anything?

tickets are cheapish atm - is it worth $250ish in flights and accom to go down for two days - or should I just wait til next year?

The first official gig of the This Is Not Art Festival, held at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle on Friday 29th September 2006 will feature:
Skist (Japan) – An electronic music duo of Samm Bennett and Haruna Ito, whose music is a reaction against established norms of music making and music listening.
Ariel Pink – A Los Angeles noisemaker whose lo-fi mush will come to life with a five piece band when he plays Sound Summit.
Richard Chartier (UK) – A digital minimalist work explores the inter-relationships between the spatial nature of sound, silence, focus, and the act of listening.
Gig 2 - Saturday night

The second official gig of the This Is Not Art Festival, will be held at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle on Saturday 30th September 2006. Headlining the night are:
