Hi - just considering my options. I'm not much of a cook and been into bodybuilding for 3 years. I'm sick of grilled chicken and brown rice! LMAO.

All I can think of is sashimi bento boxes with steamed rice and the breast fillet wraps from nando's (no mayo). Any other idea's?

Whats the best thing you think I can get from Chinese?

Been living off legumes, brown rice, tuna and chicken for 14 months and am totally sick of it. Thinking of increasing the cardio and enjoying healthy options.

Yeah Nando's wraps (no mayo) are good. Also their chicken pita no mayo. Such a rip off seeing the whole thing is the size of my palm tho.

McDonald's deli choices (tandoori & thai chicken only) are ok for a meal. Any of the salads with no dressing too.

Errm I'd suggest Subway except I personally won't eat from a store who's bread smells like mouldy feet.Whats the best thing you think I can get from Chinese?A lettuce leaf?
:P
No idea. There's so much variation in what they use, how much oil/fat/msg/whatever that I just steer clear of eating it at all (unless special occasion or something).

Maybe look up FitSmart Food Database (http://www.fitsmart.com/foods/) and see what you like/is applicable.

goto the pub and get a steak?

I'm happy to have protein shakes and tuna sangas for the majority of my meals as long as I still eat the occasional kebab and have a fryup saturday or sunday arvo for breakfast.

While its not exactly take away, i'm hooked on the continental side dishes at the moment. I usually have 2 packets of the rice based ones and mix in 3 x 95g cans of tuna once its cooked. Pretty good with under 1.5% fat, around 170g or so of carbs and 75g of protein. Coupled with a shake, its the perfect PWO meal in my case when I only have 20-30 minutes to have a shower and get to work. Perhaps not a solution in your case though if you're sick of brown rice!

i guess it depends on how many cals / day you are on but even the maccas deli choices have too many calories for one meal for me. i've got it at home somewhere (in my WW book) but theyre still bad. i dunno wtf they do to their food but even the healthy stuff is still shit.

even subway is bad, when i was on a pretty strict diet the only thing i could eat from there was the vegetarian option with NO SAUCE and NO CHEESE. but since youre probably on more cals then this might be ok ?

where you get your bento boxes from, do they do any clear noodle soups? itsu (jap takeaway near my work) do a clear noodle soup with asian veg & steamed chicken (tandoori sauce on the side) which is only about 200 cals. maybe look for something similar?

what about sumo salad? i guess body builders dont eat rabbit food :P

what about a kebab? if you go to a good kebab shop (preferably shisha) and dont have 5 different sauces and four kilos of cheese on it theyre a pretty healthy option. lebbo food is meant to be one of the better options.

[can you tell i like talking about food?]

It must be harder for girls, I'm a bit over 6' 3" so I can eat quite a lot of decent food, if I can managed to stay away from 'junk food' I'm pretty right...

I only started putting weight on when I started going out with my girlfriend. This was because her family drink during weekdays and mine never do that, so my alcohol intake went up by like 5000%.

My diet has stayed the same. Probably gotten better actually.

There is no quick food round my work which is healthy. Every fucking sandwich has mayo. I'm so sick of this stupid country.

Capa - easy way to improve your grilled chicken/fish

Heat 1/2 part soy sauce, 1/2 part mirin (japanese rice wine, any Asian grocery and most supermarkets should have it), little bit of ginger, little bit of brown sugar (dont worry you only need a tiny bit of you can not use it at all) in saucepan still sugar disolves. Let it cool. Voila you have teriyaki sauce.

Marinate your fish/chicken in it for a bit, grill as normal.

Makes simple dishes like grilled fish/chicken taste that much better and its very, very easy to make.
