Sounds like Mauro Piccotto - Verdi but better!

Its got the little bit with the reverb that sounds like an organ that verdi has in it but its got this huge distorted bassline running through it much like verdi too. The tune of the bassline is different and the track isnt shuffly like verdi. Nik Fish has been playing it recently and i heard it on room 208 on channel v being played by him. Anyone know what it is?

There's lots of those big bassline tracks around... I love them!

Check out 'Mazuka' by Airfrog on Svek, it's very new, has a big phat bass line, and has a lot of organ/jazzy, house kind of sounds in it as well, quite shuffly and funky. You can download it from www.svek.com

If you like the big bassline sound check out Airfrog's 'Bon Voyage' on Svek, or the remixes on R&S by Adam Beyer, Stacey Pullen, and Swag. Also check out Birdy's (same guys as Airfrog) 'Oiseau Blue' on Birdy. And the classic that PanNik has mentioned, a track from Adam Beyer's 'Remainings III' on DrumCode. I actually like the remix of that track by Dahlback+Krome on Drumcode Ltd. (DC20,5) better, it's been played to death though, although not as much as Beyer's remix of Ben Sims Re(Manipulated) has been.

Hey Dave, do you like the productions from Danilo Vigorito? The primate release was alright but the rest of it sounds very similar to Carola / Gatek.

Yeah I've bought a few Danilo Vigorito records. He basically came out of nowhere and released on a bunch of labels all at the same time!

Yeah very Gaetano Parisio, Marco Carola, Rino Cerrone sounding, guess the Naples crew all hang together, and share all their logic audio secrets with each other.

Danilo Vigorito's 'Imaginary Boy EP' on Zenit, and 'Pression EP' on Conform have some tracks I really like. I was actually a bit dissapointed by his 'Workin' Progress EP' on Primate.

I have Danilo Vigorito's 'Sonar EP' on Isoghi on order, more of a tech-house sound. Isoghi is Leandro Gamez new label. I've not heard Danilo Vigorito's 'Windmill EP' on Speaker Attack, but noticed that in Rino Cerrone's top 10 chart early this year.

Yeah I'd certainly love for those new-ish tracks of mine to get released as well!. I'm working on upping the production quality of my tracks, then will be doing the push to a bunch of labels and distributors... I'd love to end up released on Phont, Primate or Primevil... It's nice to have dreams...

Yeah I actually listened to the 'Sonar' EP today and it's quite nice and definently has a house feel to it..actually there was a track on the B side which I really liked. Unfortunately funds are limited so I brought the latest Compressed and Cole: all bitches EP on Utils. Rather hard but I like that sound at the moment.

remainings iii remixes are too played out. much prefer "hardwired" by henrik b, or "bad taste" off the fiction ep by richley and rivera on primate, or redheads new one on terminal m.

henze is a bit of a slippery fish. some of his material i love, some is good, some is very dull. perfect example of this is the new one on contaminated - one track i really like, the other two don't do alot for me. just inconsistent at times, which is a pity cos when he gets it right (like he did for "las chicas sueltas pt 1" as gecko on FOD, probably the tune i've played the most over the last year)...look out.

and if gets to melbourne, but not perth, i will scream :)
