I visited Sydney back in 1996 and purchased "Field of Dreams" (cassette) by Paul Holden and also "Mercury Mixes" by DJ Jasper. Unfortunately these tapes have been munched up by my tape player. I have been looking everywhere for them the last few years but have had no luck. Any ideas where I can find them? Thank you!!

give it a couple days and someone will host them here for you.., i've got the mercury mixes (or part thereof) as mp3.., i'll see what i can do.

You're awesome- thank you very very much! Hey- I had no idea there were two earlier versions of Field of Dreams! Do you happen to have the links for Field of Dreams I and II as well? I'm a big fan of Paul Holden.

By the way- I loved Sydney when I was there. I remember they were getting ready for the olympics at that time.

Check the oldskool tape thread. Tape 2 is in there.

I have tapes one and two, along with a truckload of tapes, stuck in Sydney, awaiting to be carved up into smaller, AussiePost-friendly boxes, so I can get 'em over 'ere for cleaning up and hosting.

Also, still looking for Jasper's contact details for his ok to upload.

Was there tapes for I and II? Thinking the III tape simply coincided with the party of the same name. Not sure if tapes were released for the first couple of FoD parties.

This is one of the quintessential '93 Sydney rave tapes ever released. First tape I owned I think. Long since lost.

That's a good question. The tape I had was actually different from the one you listed on here. I remember it had a clip from Interview with a Vampire "I want some more!" (It would say this quite a bit. ALso, "don't stop!" Maybe there were a few tapes?!

KirkCo mate, I PMAO (Partied My Arse Off) to a Paul Holden set on Saturday the 18th... so did sEAbOy. Far out man, best vibe EVER!! If you think the tapes were good you should see the fod4 movie, OMGosh! PM me mate.

BTW Did you go to Fod3 at alexandria B'Ball stadium? Now that was awesome, coincedentally I heard DJ Reaver play a LIVE set on saturday as well.. almost 12 years later! No words can explain THE un-f'n-believable flashback I had from fod3 :-0 :offchops: :bow: :love:

This makes me ponder, does anyone still have contact with Dave, um wild guess I think its Dave Haran???

Its probably just a red herring but is DJ Jaspers name Adam? or is this the same guy that was involved with the MDMA parties?? If so, I think I can get in contact with him via a chick I'm seeing at my 10 year reunion. Meh anyway just a red herring Q?

Nope, first name Justin. Last seen @ Technophile (Club) and One Stop (DJ Shop) circa 1999. Cheers though.

And speaking of which, three of his tapes (along with a box of others and a tape player) left Sydney in a courier today.

Hope to upload within a week or two.
