The new issue is done.

The cover this time comes direct from Qatar in the Middle East - hence the title on the back. Bim Ricketson, our new art director is behind the lens and talks about his experiences in dusty and hot, fossil fuel rich Qatar whilst laying out the issue. This issue also features interviews with Sydney's Deepchild and Astronomy Class, Melbourne's Post and Winduptoys, Hobart's Matt Warren, Rebel MP from Lismore, and Shannon O'Neill guides us through his formative record experiences. On the international front we speak to Kid Koala, Nico Muhly and Rune Kristoffersen from Norwegian independent label Rune Grammofon.

There will be a launch soon.

Those not in Sydney should keep an eye on their local independent record store the following week as Inertia will start shipping them to stores nationwide on November 20.

If you can't wait then check the online version (http://www.cyclicdefrost.com)with extra content or the PDF (http://www.cyclicdefrost.com/pdfs.php) of the print version.

Yo Snarl - I went into Butter Beat in Brisbane yesterday asking for your mag, and they said they hadn't seen it for months!

the guy behind the counter thought it had folded. :(

whats the deal? Don't you distribute up north anymore?

Inertia handles the distribution to stores so ask Butter Beats to order it in from Inertia - it is free to order, the shop just pays the frieght.

It IS possible that Butter Beats no longer receives regular stock form Inertia and thus has missed out.

However Rockinghorse should have had copies.
