2. house
3. Progressive trance/house
4. Bangin' trance
5. DnB
6. Breakbeat

Well ill voice my opinion as they tour Adelaide fairly regularly

1) Will E Tell - Hands down
2) ??????
3)?????????
4) Sean Quinn - The man rocks
5) 1LC or Trooper - Cant seperate em
6) Phil K - Very cool cd
7) Hard House - Ajax & Krash - These guys rock

3) hmmm don't like this style but me agree Sean Quinn
4) Psytrance- Sugar all the way
5) Ruffnut and 1LC

Will E Tell hands down for best techno DJ? Oh please, you cannot be serious. Simon Coyle, Dee Dee, Simon Slieker, Simon Digby, Nick Dem Q, Damien Laird, Slack are all shitloads better than Will E Tell. Will E Tell is mediocre, at best.

As for other styles, who knows as I don't listen to them.

No offence James - but you really don't know enough about the Melbourne scene to make an informed decision on any aspect.
Anyway - do we really need to rate DJ's - haven't we got better things to do?

Um can you explain why?

I have virtually seen and heard every DJ with some sort of a name for him/herself in Melbourne. Well on the tech side of things anyway. This year alone i have been out atleast 20 - 30 times in Melbourne...not too bad for a Sydney boy!

Will E is the only guy who cuts it up enough, and when combined with Simon Digby's smoothness, they rock...

Sugar is undeniably the best psy-trance around, but not really as a DJ - much better live...

Not sure about the other genres but for #'s 3 and 4 I would say M-experience.

^^This guy rocks-I've had the pleasure of playing a vs with him and learnt a lot just watching him mix-always solid :)
