I'm hoping to get along to this, been a fan forever, and it's his first time in Australia I think! For the un-initiated, he's a great producer of world/fusion/electronic/dub type music and has been featured on the first Northern Exposure mix, and a fair few other compilations. His music is EPIC, I have his live @ Glastonbury release where he performs with Tibetan monks and a band!!

His new album came out this year, "Farewell Ferengistan", and it's definitely worth checking as it harks back to his more seminal 90's releases "Maya" and "Last Train To Lhasa". Kind of similar to what you'd hear from the Twisted stable of downbeat producers ie. Shpongle, Ott, etc...

;D

It was awesome. 8)

He totally rocked it.

Spotted heaps of tunes, a nice mix of old ones and new ones, and he spent a fair bit of time smashing out the acid beats with layer apon layer of wailing, chanting vocals. EPIC!!!

Very glad I can tick that box on my list of people to see. :)
